Background

My journey with the lens began right out of school at the age of 16 - though looking back, I was chasing frames in my mind long before I ever owned a camera.

But through all that exploration, I realized that nothing makes me feel quite as alive as the unpredictable energy of the pavement. Today, I am a Street Photographer based in the heart of New York City, dedicated to documenting the unfiltered pulse of the metropolis.

Style

I focus entirely on capturing the raw, unscripted moments of everyday life. My approach is to step into a scene unapologetically yet with deep respect, seeking out the quiet power of genuine human emotion.

While visual aesthetics certainly have their place, they will always play backup to the human story inside the frame. For me, the true magic of photography lies in the unknown - stepping onto the sidewalk without a rigid plan, leaning into the chaos, and crafting meaning out of beautiful ambiguity.

Projects

I first arrived in New York City a decade ago as a student, and the initial whirlwind of adapting to a new life left me completely disconnected from my creative roots. As my path transitioned from the classroom to a corporate career, I realized a distinct piece of myself was missing.

Since then, I have returned to my lens as a passionate "weekend warrior," using photography as a vital outlet for self-expression. Lately, I've been working on a deeper exploration of the city's vast, shifting subcultures. From the early-morning grit of outdoor bazaars to the eclectic, bohemian energy flowing through Washington Square Park, my current work is a visual love letter aimed at appreciating the sheer diversity and resilient spirit of this city.
